The Bloom Coffee & Start-Up Space was born out of that same need to create a place where people could work, learn, and dream together.
Before The Bloom, Davao had only a few spaces for collaboration some were too quiet to talk, others too busy to think. Freelancers, students, and young professionals searched for a place that felt like theirs somewhere they could belong, share ideas, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee while building something meaningful.
When The Bloom opened its doors in early 2020, it began as a humble space just a few tables, a vision, and a belief that growth happens when people come together. It started with friends and students who stayed to study, collaborate, and connect. Then came programmers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and dreamers all bringing their stories, ideas, and energy to the space.
Through word of mouth and shared moments, our community grew. The Bloom became more than a café it became a starting place. A space where people could find support, share their journeys, and be part of something bigger. Over the years, we’ve seen students graduate, startups take shape, and friendships turn into lifelong collaborations.
Now, five years later, “bloom” means more than growth — it means witnessing people transform, helping ideas come to life, and seeing dreams flourish in ways we never imagined.
