The Bloom Coffee & Start-Up Space is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Kitchen Staff to support our culinary operations. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of food items, ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to the smooth and efficient functioning of the kitchen. This role requires teamwork, discipline, and a commitment to maintaining the quality and consistency of our food offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and basic cooking of food items in accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, storage areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Properly store, label, and monitor inventory and supplies to avoid spoilage and waste.
- Comply with portion control, food safety, and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
- Support senior kitchen personnel in food plating, garnishing, and timely service of menu items.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and organizing kitchen deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Uphold company policies and operational procedures, including attendance and workplace conduct.
Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or hospitality environment (experience in food preparation preferred).
- Basic knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks.
- Strong teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
- Willing and able to work on a flexible schedule, including graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays, as business operations may require.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining professional standards at all times.
- Must be willing to be assigned in Davao City.
